I have just enter the field of neuroscience, so I bought this poster and put it in my bedroom. It's a little expensive, but the quality of the paper has a glossy layer. Minor cons: for a fasting advancing field like neuroscience, it's not strange that some of the caption is actually outdated. Such as the function of astrocyte is written as "support" while recent research have show that it also adjusts blood flow. But most of the caption should be correct.

I bought this device to record trains on the CSX mainline. It is very handy. I suspect you could use it for ghost hunting as well. It is very portable and has good sound quality. Easy to use!

Walker's Game Ear, October 15, 2008

I have owned a Walker GameEar previously and this model met the same criteria as my previous purchase. I like not only the hearing amplification but also the attenuation of high noises such as gun shots. The cost of this GameEar was a lot less through this dealer even including the shipping charges. The unit was received within a week of ordering.

Walkers for use as a hearing aid., December 18, 2009

I purchased Walkers Digital HD Pro as a hearing aid. It had the 3 features I wanted: frequency control, volume control, and the ear-bud earpiece.

It took a week or two to get it adjusted properly, but now I am satisfied. It provides me hearing enhancement just as good as a $1500 aid, better is some ways due to the volume control. I felt I could try this product because I noticed the 30-day return policy.

I was on the rifle team and worked around jet engines while in the service. I did not wear protection when I should have. As a result I have hearing loss at the upper frequency levels. Only the new digital aids with frequency adjustment allow the aid to fill in just these missing frequencies. Walkers provides this at an affordable price.

Walkers could improve this product by providing a frequency control chart that shows the frequency response of the aid at each frequency setting. Trial and error is OK but it would be better to start at the approximate correct setting.

Very good value, September 23, 2009

The Stealth S.S.A. is very good value for the money. The device is easy to use and works as advertised. There was a minor problem which was solved by a very cooperative Customer Service. After I received it, it kept slipping out of my ear even though the rubber wire around the ear fit snugly. The problem was with one of the three soft ear tips that fits over the part that ins inserted in the ear. The device comes with three different sizes. I needed a larger size. I called Customer Service, which responded by sending me free of charge several of the next larger size. The device now fits perfectly.

We tried several different wireless headsets before settling on the RS-130 and could not be happier. My wife and I wanted a wireless headset while use our treadmill and everything we tried was uncomfortable, wiggled around, just plain fall off, or worked like crap. The RS-130 was the answer to our prayers. It is a solid piece of equipment which is really comfortable and stays on your head (we have tried it as high as 8.5 MPH). The quality of sound is exceptional and has yet to give us any trouble. My wife has started to recommend this headset to her friends at work (who are taking part in the presidential challenge for Feds)who want to watch TV or listen tunes and complain about the noise of their equipment, home life and/or gym.

I'll have to say Sony has a great product on their hands here. The problem is they don't tell you this at all, neither on the box, on their website, in this listing on amazon or other reviews I have read.

Pros:

-Easy to setup

-Best sound quality out of all bluetooth headphones tested-comparable to a about a $50 pair of wired headphones (good bass, a little scratchy when you have it really loud, great mids and highs)

-Versatility (explained below)

-Most comfortable behind the ear bluetooth headphones, also the lightest, comparable to the weight and comfort to other sony behind the ear wired headphones

-Battery life is very good

Cons:

-Fold-able aspect makes them a bit delicate, little worried that could be a problem in the future

-Play/Pause/Forward/Backward control for music is a little tricky and small

Versatility:

What everyone including Sony fails to tell you is these headphones can replace all of the following: your bluetooth headset for your phone (if your phone has bluetooth), your bluetooth headphones for your cell phone (if it supports this profile), headphones for your computer (if it has bluetooth), mic for your computer, allowing you to chat with your friends wirelessly. Also you can use the ipod transmitter to connect your ipod to other bluetooth enabled devices, like your stereo system in your home entertainment system, that is if it supports it. The headphones/headset has a built in microphone, giving you the ability to use the whole system for talking to people on your computer and cell phone. I tested it with multiple systems and I was well impressed. Also worked great on my macs. Another feature not mentioned is while listening to music on your phone, you can receive a phone call, and then go right back to listening to music. The last thing I need to test is if I can have my phone and ipod connected at the same time and it pauses your music when a call comes in.

The beauty of this product is it can be used in so many manners, it ends up replacing so many things. The cost is well justified when you realize it replaces the headphones for your ipod and computer, the bluetooth headset for your phone (easily $60) and mic for your computer. On top of it all what it replaces, it ends up being wireless, making it so much easier and convenient to work while enjoying your music or talking.

Five stars to Sony, now get your marketing department to realize the product you have and bring the price to exactly $99.95 retail and you'll sell tons of these.

Highly Recommended Accessory:

Case Logic makes this case for GPS units, where the DR-BT21IK/B happen to fit perfectly in it. It is made of durable and secure leather and vinyl, very hard to help protect your investment. Because of the folding plastic, I recommend this case (I just got mine from my local computer store this evening) to protect the hinges cause I can see when traveling with the headphones, those could easily get crushed.

My favorite Stethoscope, December 31, 2007

I'm a 2nd yr surgical resident. I've had this stethoscope for about 7 or 8 yrs, it served me well in my clinical clerk-ships, as well working as i got out of college, and now in my residency years. Its best attributes are: 1. it does not hurt your ears; 2. excellent acoustics, it achieves a great seal from environmental noise, letting hear what you actually want; 3. Great durability, I'm just buying a new one because i misplaced mine at the hospital, and of course, never again...
